Steve Addison joins Dave and Mark to discuss his new book “Acts and the Movement of God from Jerusalem to the Ends of the Earth.” Steve launches out from the idea of the gap between our experience and the movement of God described in Acts and how the book challenges every successive generation to participate in the movement of God.
The interview heats up as Steve challenges the Western ideal of social transformation and how it does not square with regions where people are persecuted for their faith. Instead, Steve highlights Luke’s call to the core missionary task to multiplying disciples, leaders, and churches.
